The inaugural issue of the IIIT Students’ Magazine (November 2024) explores Islamic thought, leadership, education, and contemporary issues through scholarly reflections and inspiring personal journeys. At its heart is “The Journey of a Giant: A Mentor for Muslim Youth,” highlighting the remarkable life and contributions of Dr. Ahmad Totonji and his enduring commitment to Islamic education, leadership, and youth development. The issue also features reflections on Qur’anic leadership, contemporary psychology, ethics and politics in Islam, special needs education, the IIIT mission at IIUM, and the experiences of IIIT scholars and students.
